Solo Mentoring Process

Ever thought of taking your bow and hearing the applause on stage in your very own solo? Want to experiment with props not available to you in class? Now’s your chance!

We have reviewed our usual process and added an extra session to ensure your experience is even more value for money.

The process gives you the opportunity to experiment with your own choreography and perfect your act under the advice and guidance of your mentor. You will have feedback from other Lovelies involved in the process and then perform your solo at a special one off performance with other Lovelies, friends and relatives ensuring you a supportive and enthusiastic audience.

You can also choose your mentor! Many Lovelies prefer to work with their class tutor but this year we are opening things up for you to experiment and try working with someone new.  Ruby Blue, Crimson Desire, Miss T and Bitsy Sunshine are all ready to take you on a voyage of discovery and help you find your ultimate Inner Godess.

Before you have your first 1-1 session with your mentor you will be invited to a Zoom meeting to talk through your ideas and to complete your Solo Act Development form. You will also receive helpful advice on how to begin devising your act ands tips on choreography. This will help you to consolidate your ideas and ensure your mentor is aware of what you want to acheive in advance. That way your sessions can be all about the choreography and fine tuning your solo.

The Solo Mentoring Process is divided into 4 sessions to ensure you have plenty of 1 – 1 time with your mentor. You can also split the cost into 3 installments. (See below.)

Group Devising Meeting: Tuesday 15th October 7.30pm, via Zoom.

Session 2:              To be arranged with you.

Session 3:            To be arranged with you.

Session 4:              Group Feedback session:  To be arranged (Subject to booking)

Technical Rehearsal & Performance:      7pm Saturday 14th December. Marks Tey Parish Hall.

Your chance to create your own solo act with your own personal mentor.

An event to invite all your family and friends to come along and kick off the Festive Season in fabulous burlesque style.

You will experience a group guidance meeting, two 1-2-1 sessions with your mentor, a whole group feedback session with all the other soloists, dress rehearsal in the chosen venue and performance.

In order to take advantage of our 3 stage installment plan please ‘Add to Basket’ and pay £60.00 via Bacs. 2 further payments of £60 will then be required with the final installment paid before performance.
